Branded residences are a result of a partnership between a brand and a master developer, where the brand allows the real estate company the right to promote and sell properties under its trademark. In this case, the developer is obliged to pay a royalty fee, design and administration fees, in addition to any other extra charges.
According to Arabian Business, Dubai houses 58 branded residence projects in total, including 31 completed projects and 27 at various stages of construction. In H1 2022, a total of 3,324 deals were concluded, amounting to AED 161.3B (USD 43.9B). The highest price per sq. ft of a branded property is in AVA at Palm Jumeirah – AED 6,937 (USD 1,888). At the same time, the best-selling developments include St. Regis The Residences, W Residences Downtown, The Address Jumeirah Resort & Spa, Cavalli Casa Tower and SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences.
