Free Electric Bus Rides between La Mer and Al Sufouh
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that residents and guests of Dubai can enjoy electric bus trips free of charge.

It operates between La Mer and Al Sufouh and includes the following bus stops:

  • La Mer South
  • Mercato Mall
  • Rashid Bin Bakhait Masjid
  • Majlis Al Ghoreifa
  • Dubai Offshore Sailing Club.
  • Umm Suqeim 1
  • Umm Suqeim Park
  • Wild Wadi
  • Burj Al Arab
  • Al Sufouh Tram Station
The bus departs from La Mer South bus stop every two hours from 10 am to 10 pm. From Al Sufouh Tram Station, it leaves every two hours from 10.40 am to 10.40 pm.

Thanks to the electric bus, you can cover most of Jumeirah Road and easily get to these iconic places of the emirate:

  1. Kite Beach offers a wide range of water sports activities including kitesurfing, wakeboarding and stand-up paddleboarding.
  2. Umm Suqeim 2 Public Beach is another popular beach among residents and guests of Dubai.
  3. Burj Al Arab is the most iconic hotel in Dubai. Its shape resembles the sail of a ship. A helipad is located on the top of the building.
  4. Wild Wadi Waterpark will be appreciated by adrenaline lovers, as it offers various rides and attractions including Action River, Master Bluster and Jumeirah Sceirah.
