To facilitate travel during the World Cup, the UAE government launched a new multiple-entry visa solely for Hayya card holders for a period of 90 days priced at AED 100 (USD 27.2). That being said, according to S&P Global, these visas, along with geographic proximity of Dubai to Doha, major attractions and local and international airline connections, make Dubai the main beneficiary of the upcoming championship.
S&P Global expects that the emirate, which is already on a business and tourism overdrive because of Expo 2020, will witness high occupancy rates and almost full capacity in hotels, with room prices climbing further. As a result, it is safe to say that short-term rentals in Dubai will be in high demand during the World Cup, especially in Emaar Beachfront, which, as part of Dubai Harbour, will provide easy access to the BudX FIFA Fan Festival. As of Q4 2022, the starting rental price in Emaar Beachfront is AED 450 (USD 122) per day, AED 5,100 (USD 1,400) per week and AED 13,000 (USD 3,500) per month in premium completed developments, such as Sunrise Bay and Beach Vista, just to name a few.
